What is URL Extraction?
Discovery
We crawl the target website by following internal links starting from the homepage, discovering pages exactly as a search engine would.
Data Export
Need a list for a site migration or redirect mapping? Download the raw extracted URLs into a CSV spreadsheet or a plain text file in one click.
Custom Sitemaps
Sometimes you need to manually edit a list of URLs before generating a sitemap. Extracting the raw URLs gives you complete control.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this extract external links?
No. To keep the output clean and relevant for SEO, we only extract internal URLs that share the same root domain as the URL you entered.
Why didn't it find all my pages?
Our free extractor follows standard HTML `<a href>` links and is capped at a specific number of pages to ensure fast performance. If your site uses JavaScript rendering or has 'orphan pages', the crawler won't be able to find them.
How can I format this list into an XML Sitemap?
If you just want a sitemap generated automatically, use our XML Sitemap Generator instead. If you want to use this list, download the CSV, edit it, and use a specialized tool to wrap the URLs in XML tags.
Can I extract URLs from a specific subdirectory?
Yes, you can enter a specific subdirectory (e.g., `https://example.com/blog/`) and the crawler will start there, finding all linked pages.
Does the extractor find images or PDFs?
It depends on how they are linked. The extractor looks for standard `<a href>` tags. If a PDF is linked directly via an anchor tag, it will be extracted. It does not scrape `<img>` source attributes.
Is there a limit to how many URLs I can extract?
Yes, the free version of our tool imposes a strict time and page limit (usually around 30 pages) to prevent server abuse and ensure instant results.
